Turunç

Turunç is a single-bay village that for most of the year is quiet enough that you can read the silence between the cicadas. Pine forests run right down to the water. The bay is sheltered enough that you can swim straight out from shore and it stays warm late into October. Boat trips run to surrounding bays — Kumlubük, Çiftlik, Loryma — which are mostly uninhabited. There's not much to do here on purpose. Eat at the beachfront restaurants. Walk the ridge above town in the morning.
