Antalya

Antalya is the largest city on Turkey's southern coast and the gateway to the Lycian Way. The old town, Kaleici, is a maze of restored Ottoman houses, boutique hotels, and tiny bars opening onto views of the marina and the Taurus Mountains beyond. Hadrian's Gate still stands. Two waterfalls (Düden, Kursunlu) frame the city. The archaeological museum is one of Turkey's best — the marble sarcophagi from nearby Perge are world-class.
